Chip and Dale are both too small to cut wood , so they went to see their friend Beaver , who loves chopping wood .
"Hello boys."said Beaver . "You want some wood? Here take all you can carry . I've got of it."
Chip and Dale thanked him , and put a pile of logs on a old sleigh . but it was ever so heavy to drag along.
"Lucky it's soon downhill to our house."said Dale . He was worn out !
when they came to the downhill bit , they gave the sleigh a big push . whoosh ! Away it went , much faster than they expected . all the logs tumbled off .
It was hard work picking up the heavy logs . they were both soon worn out .
"I really need a rest !" said Dale , after a while , then Chip had a good idea .
"lets make a log cabin with all the logs." He said . "We could have a sleep in it."
They pushed some logs into the ground for the walls and balanced some on the top for the roof .
They had nearly finished their log cabin when .....BONK ! One fell on Chip's head!
"Ouch!" he cried ."Now i need a rest!"
At last,it was finished . "Yippee!" they both cried . "Let's go inside!" said Dale . Chip agreed .
The weather was so warm they decided to spend the whole night in their log cabin . After all the work , they were worn out . They fell straight to sleep !
